Computer Training: Computer Cleaning & Care (Online Access)

In our April 2017 Computer Training Module we discuss:  Computer Cleaning & Care

It’s a combination of Fernando, Jon and Ron going over several things that can actually be vital to the proper function, and longevity of your computers.  Our discussion centers around notebook or laptop computers, but we also discuss cleaning of desktop or tower computers as well as a small section about cleaning your biofeedback devices, because the majority of the people we work with are biofeedback device users.

We will cover the following subjects:

Care and cleaning for your laptop screens, keyboard and outer case.  We discuss in detail, the cleaning of dust, and debris from the interior and the vents of the computer.  We actually show you how to take them apart and clean inside without damaging anything.   We will show the proper way to use compressed air and air compressors for cleaning the dust, hair and other debris that gets trapped inside and can actually destroy your computers.

We will discuss battery care, hinge care, proper air flow for cooling the computer, and proper cleaning supplies.

We also give a brief overview of power strips, and hospital grade and regular surge suppressors, because incoming power protection is a necessity as we talk about caring for your computer.

We also talk about potential damages that can be done by the way you pack your laptop in your carrying bag.

It's an action packed hour of video training, and even though this sounds simple, we guarantee you will learn a few things that you may have never even thought of. You will learn how to get the most life out of your expensive investment in your high performance computer equipment.
